Coming to you straight outta Cleveland, where it’s official that 2011 is the wettest year on record, The Outspoken Cyclist is all about metal this week.
And with all that precipitation, it’s fitting that our first guest is Joe McCrink of KVA Stainless in Escondido, California. Joe will tell us how his family makes corrosion resistant tubing in such a dry and sunny part of the country.
After our usual round of news and banter, Diane welcomes framebuilder and trans-continental cyclist Chris Kvale. Chris has been riding and racing for over 45 years, and building custom, lugged steel frames in Minneapolis, Minnesota for more than 35 years.
It’s always great to hear from folks like Joe and Chris, whose passion drives them to do what they do so very well.
