Once again this week Diane proves she has friends in high places in the cycling world. Former U.S. Congressman from Minnesota and the bicycling advocate’s advocate James Oberstar joins us to talk about what he sees on the political horizon for funding of cycling initiatives.
In the second half of the show we speak with John S. Allen, author of Bicycling Street Smarts. Most recently John has taken on the task (in collaboration with Sheldon’s widow, Harriet Fell) of updating the encyclopedia of bicycling technical information, sheldonbrown.com.
