A great story is a great story, no matter what the subject. If the story includes a bicycle ride, it automatically becomes even better. This week, two “regular guys” tell you their stories about magic, commuting, collision, GPS, and the lure of the velodrome. Oh yeah, there are bikes involved as well.
Our first guest is Joey Lepore, author, magician, bike commuter and licensed New York City tour guide. Joe has written a book entitled Bicycle Commuter’s Ultimate Survival Guide. He also gives bicycle-based tours of NYC, and is a professional magician who holds six world records in sleight of hand.
In the second half of the show, we talk with Ryan Sabga, a professional cyclist who rides for Black Dog Pro Cycling. Last November, Ryan’s Garmin GPS proved he was right and a motorist was lying in the aftermath of a car-bike collision. Happily, before we got to the crash story (and we did hear the crash story), a riveting discussion of track cycling broke out.
See, I told you these were some great stories!
