Featuring some of the world’s most elaborate and beautiful jewelry, the Cleveland Museum of Art’s latest exhibition Artistic Luxury: Fabergé, Tiffany, Lalique is not to be missed! Listen to Uncle Fred’s latest installment of Arts on the Heights for a preview of this impressive presentation of jewelry and fine pieces of history.
Highlighting the craftsmanship and beauty of these pieces, most of which made before the dawn of World War I, this jewelry was first shown at the 1900 World’s Fair in Paris, France. And now for the first time since, they are in the same public viewing exhibition again here in Cleveland.
This could be your only chance to view many of the items in this collection; most pieces are held in private collections and rarely released for public viewing. Artistic Luxury: Fabergé, Tiffany, Lalique is on display now through January 18, 2009 only at the world-renowned Cleveland Museum of Art.
